At the end of the film, he chases her through the airport on Christmas Eve to declare his love before she moved back to America and managed to bag himself a kiss on the cheek as a reward.
Meanwhile, Keira Knightley, who was 18 at the time, played Juliet - a young married woman who learns her husband’s best friend is in love with her.
Many fans of the film were shocked to learn that despite the massive difference in the ages of their characters, the age gap between Brodie-Sangster and Knightley is not actually that big.

Thomas is an English actor born on May 16, 1990.
Brodie-Sangster landed his first role at the age of 11 in the British TV movie Station Jim in 2001.

The two actors met on the set of the limited series Pistol in 2021.
They confirmed their relationship at the British Academy Film Awards Gala Dinner in March 2022.
The couple do not have any children.
Thomas and Talulah thrilled fans when they announced they had got in engaged.
