Inside Scotland’s new Lush spa – it’s one of only 18 in the world and the treatment rooms are stunning
LUSH has opened a new spa slap bang in the centre of Glasgow - and it's a haven of peace.
The high street beauty brand launched a flagship store on the city's bustling Buchanan Street just before Christmas last year.
It's packed full of shoppers' favourites, like bath bombs and bubble bars, and has a shampoo and style bar in the basement.
And they've now added to the offering with a spa on the top floor.
Tucked away above the hustle and bustle of one of the country's busiest shopping streets, visitors are immediately pulled into the calming space with muted colours and pretty treatment rooms, all named after Scotland's wild birds.
The spa, which is one of 18 across the world, has 12 different spa treatments across four stunning single and two double rooms.
And inside, 10 spa therapists offer treatments including a new Scottish-themed hot stone massage The Highlands - only available in Glasgow and Edinburgh - as well as hot chocolate-scented full body scrub The Comforter and face, ear and scalp massage, The Sound Bath.
And each treatment is accompanied by exclusive music, commissioned by Lush.
Jordan Bates, spa manager, said: “There has been such a wonderful buzz and excitement around the opening of our spa.
"I really think the people of Glasgow are ready to be transported to an oasis of calm.

“We have so many amazing treatments to offer, from journeys to the Highlands with a hot stone massage, to Tales of Bath for a bathing experience followed by a dreamy hot oil-side lying massage.
"You can even be transported to a ship’s cabin scented with sea mist whilst listening to sea shanties as the therapist unwinds the tension in your muscles like the ropes of a ship in our full body Good Hour massage.
“There really is no other experience like a Lush Spa treatment, each is its own self contained journey with unique soundtracks, products and innovative routines.
"I know myself, and my team are so excited to start performing all of these magical treatments.”
The top floor sanctuary opened on Friday with customers flocking to try out the treatments, all powered by Lush’s fresh, handmade products.
