People are showing off their amazing Next sales hauls – and one nabbed £133.50 worth of kids’ clothes for just £38

NEXT customers were desperate to nab a bargain when they realised a huge sale was starting today - and one woman certainly got a good haul.

Shoppers across the country have been sharing their finds on social media, and have even managed to entirely update their children's wardrobe.

One mum shared an array of clothes she had purchased for her young daughter for £38.50 and revealed it usually would have cost her £133.50.

The epic haul included around 15 pairs of leggings and trousers, six T-shirts and long-sleeved tops, a few pretty dresses and a pack of pyjamas.

Captioning the post with some more information, she wrote: "A LADY HAS POSTED THE SALE ONLINE IS THURSDAY 8AM FOR EVERYONE. NEXT sale £133.50 down to £38.50!! 😍😍😍."

She advised: "The lady in store did say that they are clearing out for the 50% off sale that starts in store on Thursday.

"This is NOT VIP STOCK SALE OR VIP ONLINE SALE this was the stock that would have sold prior if lockdown hadn't closed down the stores.

"The VIP sale is up to 50% off as it will be newer stock from what I have been told x."

Another happy customer took to Twitter and revealed: "So excited. Bought a canvass for the living room in the Next sale, was prepared to pay £90 for it but got it for £29! Result! Love a bargain!"

A fellow shopper replied, adding: "I just got a bargain on my new curtains. They were £60. Got to checkout and they were only £30. Happy days."

Another parent took to Instagram to show off her haul, which included plenty of dresses and pretty pink shoes for her child.

She captioned the post: "Good haul at @nextofficial this morning. Went to Shoreham at 11am. No queue and the children’s section was nice and quiet.

"Got plenty of 18-24 and starting to build up a 2-3yr collection. Got nothing for myself!"

However, some shoppers were not impressed when the Next website crashed and they were left queuing online for hours, despite being given a VIP shopping slot.

But Next made up for the glitch by handing out £10 voucher codes as their way of saying sorry.

An email from the Online Customer Service Director read: "I am writing to apologise that you had such a poor experience when you shopped our VIP Sale website last night."

Meanwhile, other high street retailers are slashing their prices too - with John Lewis selling school uniforms at a much cheaper price.

But for those kids who like to dress up, parents should head to Asda where Disney costumes are on sale for just £3.
