I’m a cougar – it’s exciting to teach younger men in the bedroom but I hate when they expect me to be their sugar mommy
A SELF-CONFESSED cougar who dates men 10 years her junior has revealed that she's constantly approached by suitors who want her to be their sugar mommy.
Amanda Keller, 37, tends to date men at least a decade younger than she is but has insisted they are the ones making the first move.
Over the last five years, she has had relationships with seven men between the age ranges of 26 to 28.
She is currently dating a 26-year-old.
Keller said age doesn't bother her but admitted it can get in the way because men will expect her to be their "sugar mommy" — with some even asking her for cars and gifts.
She explained that her age allows her to "teach" younger men when performing in the bedroom and insists people shouldn't "judge every cougar from the cover."

"The age gap doesn't bother me; it is the behavior of the person that is important," said Keller, an operational manager, from Detroit, Michigan.
"A lot of them don't want to settle down; they want you to take care of them financially.
"Younger men usually date older women who are established so they don't have to pay for things.
"In the past, I have been asked for cars and money. They come in with all these things that they want and get mad when they don't get them."

Keller has been dating on and off since 2014 after being in a 17-year relationship.
She said that the past seven men she has dated have been in their 20s, and a lot of them initially think she is their age.
"I look like I am in their age bracket, and they assume they are around my age," she said.
"Upon talking to me, they know they are not my age.
"I mean, my daughter recently turned 18, and my now ex — who I was dating for four years — is 28.
A lot of men at that age want to learn and they are looking for a woman to guide them on what you're looking for sexually.

"They are always in the 25 to 28 age bracket.
"It would be nice to date someone my own age as the maturity level can get in the way."
DON'T ASK FOR AN ALLOWANCE
Keller said a pro of dating a younger man is that it is "exciting" and she can teach them how to improve their performance in the bedroom.
But a con is that they expect her to be their sugar mommy and aren't mature.
When it comes to dating, Keller uses apps like Tinder, Bumble, and Facebook Dating to meet new people—and younger men often message her on Instagram.
"A lot of younger men that approach me from the dating apps have the tendency to think that older women are just sugar mommies," she said.
"Although I have a good job, I am not looking for another child and that is where we have an issue.
"I am not mothering them."
THE THRILL OF TEACHING
Keller has been dating a 26-year-old for the past three months and said things are going well.
She claimed she likes the "fun element" of dating younger men.
"It is really fun for me, I feel like in that age range they are more exciting," she said.

"I think it is when you show them new things that they haven't experienced with women their own age — that adds to the thrill.
"I think women [who] are their age don't have too much depth.
"When it comes to dating I will want to go horseback riding or on a trail or to sip and paint.
"Younger people just go to the cinema or go over to each others' houses."
BEDROOM LESSONS
When it comes to having sex with younger men, Keller said she has to "show them the ropes" and guide them on how to pleasure a woman.
"I feel like you have to teach them more of what you need and how to do it," she explained.
"A lot of men at that age want to learn and they are looking for a woman to guide them on what you're looking for sexually.
"They are definitely ready to learn."
BAD REPUTATION
Keller claimed people are too quick to judge older women who date younger men.
"Don't judge every cougar from the cover," she said.
"Not every cougar might be looking for a 25-year-old, but the younger man could be looking for them.

"I think cougars get a bad reputation that we are the ones looking for the 25-year-old.
"Usually they are the ones coming up to older women."
