The Daily Star reported on Brooke Sherbert's Instagram post in which she called out body-shamers.

The mum-of-two explained that she often hears people ask: "How did she get him?"

Brooke is often told that because she is "big" she is "punching" in her relationship.

She pointed out that her marriage goes deeper than things such as looks.

"We have seen so many versions of each other, we have shared so many memories, been through so much together," Brooke said.

"I have grown and given birth to our babies, twice.

"We have been there for each other through the lowest lows and the highest highs.

"We are each other’s family and home, forever and always."

Brooke, who regularly shares body confident posts of herself in swimwear, encouraged her followers to embrace their figures.

"Let this be a reminder that your value is not determined by your size," she wrote.

She also shared a message to those who feel the need to comment on other people's bodies.

"To the faceless, nameless people that think it's OK to speak like this to strangers on the internet, I really hope you get the help you need to get out of that dark hole," she said.

"Do some inner work and reflect on yourself rather than project onto others."

Instagram users shared their thoughts on Brooke's message in the comments section.

"What on earth! Clearly jealous, you are beautiful and you both shine together, anyone can see that!" wrote one follower.
