The winner of the contest – which supports charity Balls to Cancer – will be crowned on August 20 in Leicester and will represent England at the Mr World contest in Vietnam next month.

3. Bal Tattla

BAL TATTLA, 26, of Greenford, West London, is an assistant manager at financial services company Deloitte and also works with underprivileged kids.

He says: “I am determined to help others who have not been so fortunate.”

4. Tommy Dodd

CIVIL engineer Tommy Dodd, 32, of Tenterden, Kent, supports the British Heart Foundation after losing his dad Adrian in 2022 to a heart condition.

He says: “Life is too short – you have to make the most of it and push your boundaries.”

6. Joe Hardcastle

PERSONAL trainer Joe Hardcastle, 21, of Leicester, turned to fitness as an outlet during a tough childhood, founding the charity Active Lives Community.

9. Daniel Rodzoch

MODEL Daniel Rodzoch, 23, from Manchester, supports Widnes-based cancer charity Sam’s Diamonds, as his mum had the disease.

He says of survivors: “They showed me that when life is darkest we find something inside to help us to reach heights beyond our expectations.”
