Talking to the camera about his house in San Diego, he said: “We abandoned it because my dad spent $1 million on two palm trees.

“He put a palm tree at either side of the house.

“But when they put them in, they accidentally burst a pipe.

“This whole wine cellar flooded, the house and the neighbourhood were ruined.

“We had to have them remodel it but while they were doing that, we bought a new house 15 minutes down the road, and we haven’t been to the old one since.”

In the caption of the video, Donland revealed that they ended up spending nearly £2 million on the damage.
