IT was one of the biggest shows of the 90s, with viewers keen to see what Angelica Pickles and Chuckie Finster got up to next.

And now Rugrats fans can nab merchandise from the show, after Primark launched a range of new PJs emblazoned with the characters.

In fact, Primark has been knocking it out of the park with their nightwear options in recent months, according to fashion fan Lauren Saddington.

Lauren took to TikTok to share a video looking at Primark's newest PJs, as she held a huge haul of options despite admitting she "didn't need" any of them.

"I wasn't gonna do a video, I was just coming in and out," she sighed.

"Tell me why I've picked up the High School Musical pyjamas.

"I don't need them.

"Primark, you're killing me. All I'm buying is pyjamas!"

Showing a pair of Sesame Street pyjamas with Elmo on the front, Lauren called them the "cutest things" she'd ever seen, before moving over to the Rugrats range.

Showing a strappy vest top and shorts which had the slogan "90s girl" on the front, Lauren admitted: "I'm literally obsessed!"

She wasn't a fan of The Lion King PJs, and didn't get the "Hello Kitty hype", but did "actually love" the Hercules range based on the 1997 Disney movie.

There were also SpongeBob Squarepants options, as well as Minions and even Emily in Paris - ahead of the new series dropping on Netflix on 15th August.

I'm a curvy size 16 and I've found the best pair of jeans from Primark - they're only £18 & suit short AND tall people

"Do I need the High School Musical ones? I feel like I do!" Lauren laughed.

"Primark's PJs game is STRONG," she wrote over the top of the video.

The comments section was quickly filled with people equally excited about the new PJ options, with one writing: "At this point, I have more PJs than actual clothes.

"I'm not even mad!"

"I rarely buy actual clothes in Primark just the PJs, the HSM and Hannah Montana PJs are everything," another added.

"Hercules is my fave Disney film," a third admitted.

The horrifying 90s trends that will be massive this year

IT might be 2024, but it looks like we've skipped back another decade to the 1990s.

Cool Britannia was in reign, Oasis v Blur, Blair and The Beckhams all stole headlines but couples dressing and combats were king and this year they’re back.

But not everyone will be happy with the return of some looks we’d consider cringe rather than cool.

Here fashion editor Clemmie Fieldsend reveals the nineties trends that are back.

SKELTS

The micro mini crept back on the scene last year but is set to be one of the biggest trends this year.

The skelt (that's skirt-belt) made famous by former glamour model Jodie Marsh and donned by nineties supermodels Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Kate Moss is now available at high street stores like H&M and Zara.

DOUBLE (AND TRIPLE) DENIM

From Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's matching looks to Irish girl band B*Witched dressing head to toe in jean - double and sometimes triple denim is synonymous with nineties style.

Fast forward to now and everything from jeans to maxi skirts, yes maxi skirts, the waists will be low and worn with denim bags, tops and bras, like Bella Hadid

COMBATS

Rebranded as “cargo” trousers and skirts but don’t be fooled, they’re just combats.

Think All Saints, Billie Piper, and S Club 7 style practical, multi pocketed pants.

If you’re looking to get back into your combats there are an abundance available on the high street at Primark, New Look and Asos.

BALLET PUMPS

Remember the days when you would slip on your ballet pumps and feel every lump and bump of the pavement?

Yes they’re back.

And they're already lining the shelves at Primark.

"Best get myself to Primark once the summer holidays are over and it's not full of kids."

"I ran to get the Sesame Street ones ! So comfy too," someone else said.

"This was me a few weeks ago," another admitted. "I bought 5 pairs!"

But not everyone was as enamoured with the nightwear options, with one writing: "I don't understand why a fully grown adult would want to wear High School Musical or Rugrats pyjamas."
