And Primark certainly caused a frenzy with its crew neck style released last year - yes, we're talking about that pink jumper.

It instantly went viral and sold out in stores across the country.

So it's unsurprising that the retail giant has brought the jumper back for 2024 in brand new colourways.

Primark bosses have hailed the new releases as the "best knitted jumper for 2024".

They added: "With an oversize slouch silhouette, this throw-on neutral knit creates an effortless look with a soft and cosy brushed effect."

It has been designed 10% lambswool and a perfectly slouched silhouette that will look good at any outfit.

The jumper is currently available in three colours - light blue, camel and light grey - and comes in sizes small, medium and large.

But the bargain retailer has revealed that a fourth colour is on the way.

Don't get your hopes up though, it's not the baby pink one (for now, at least).

Instead, Primark bosses are dropping an on-trend colour that's set to be huge for autumn - oxblood.

I'm a curvy size 16 and I've found the best pair of jeans from Primark - they're only £18 & suit short AND tall people

The burgundy shade isn't showing as available on the website yet, so keep your eyes peeled in store.

And at just £17 you’ll have to be quick if you want to snap any of them up.

Staff at the Braehead branch near Glasgow excitedly announced "the viral jumper is back"on social media this week.

So it's unsurprising that shoppers are already racing to their nearest branch to get a hold of the new colours.

After spotting them in store, fashionista Kia gushed: "Run don’t walk to Primark, the viral jumpers & back!!

"I know it's August but these will probably sell out by autumn."

Another screamed: "I picked it up in 3 colours. I am obsessed. Primark new in is giving autumn and sorry I’m here for it."

"I secured today the baby blue one! Is lovely", wrote a third.

A fourth added: "Yessss I got the dark grey and pink last year, these new colour ways are calling my name."

A fifth chimed in: "I need these so badly. live in the pink one i got last year it’s so high quality."

Meanwhile, a sixth insisted: "I NEED IN EVERY COLOUR."

But other fashion fans are gutted that the viral pink shade hasn't returned for 2024.

"Still on the hunt for a pink one from last year", one person sighed.

Another exclaimed: "I want the pink WHERE IS IT?"

A third pleaded: "Please please please bring the pink one back!!"

"Praying they get the pink ones in again I'll deff get", echoed a fourth.

And someone else said: "Need the pink one back."

It comes after a woman was left stunned at the start of the year after spotting the Primark jumper being sold on Vinted for a ridiculous amount.

Lilly insisted she was "in a state of shock" after seeing the £17 jumper listed for a whopping £50 on the marketplace app.

The jumper did go viral on social media, meaning it sold out of stores quickly - but she still couldn't get over the price hike.

She said: "Like I respect the hustle girl.

"£50 for polyester? TikTok has truly changed some of us into crazy people.

"If you've got that much to spend, like, please, I'm not hating on you, but I'm just like 'what the hell' when we all know for a fact that that jumper probably costs like 20p max to make.

"F***ing crazy."

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it's down to four points.

  • They "sell a lot of items" - Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They "do very little advertising"
  • While their clothes offer the "latest trends", they "don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels".
  • And lastly, they try to be "as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores". This includes things like asking "suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf".
