I’m Phoebe Bridgers’ makeup artist – my fave no-mirror-needed product is only $9 and I can’t live without an $18 mascara

She revealed a trend she's been 'obsessed' with

A CELEBRITY makeup artist has revealed the affordable products she swears by for her clients' biggest moments.

Amber Dreadon, a MUA whose clientele list includes Phoebe Bridgers, Lorde, Elizabeth Debicki, and more, shared her go-to products with The U.S. Sun.

Dreadon, who pulled together Phoebe's Weekend 2 Coachella and Lorde's Met Gala looks, explained that she doesn't need an expensive trip to Sephora to compile her makeup arsenal.

"I love to pair more budget-friendly products alongside my luxe products," she said.

"There are so many great basics that don't need to be expensive!"

Two of her go-to tools are MCoBeauty's $6.99 Dual Density Blender Sponge and $10.99 Makeup Setting Puffs, which she keeps "on hand" to blend as she works and powder under the eyes.

Dreadon also relies on tubing mascara in the summer heat to prevent raccoon eyes.

"When it’s so hot and sticky, and I’m trying to keep all of my makeup in place, I can’t live without tubing mascara," she said.

"The MCoBeauty Xtendlash Mascara in Black/Brown is a must-have."

She added that one of her favorite unconventional products is a hydrating spray at the end of her makeup routine.

"I think most people save their face sprays to use as a final step for makeup, but I love to use a hydrating face spray at both the beginning and end of a makeup application," she said.

Dreadon explained that the step helps to keep the skin hydrated throughout the application process.

"Using a spray like the MCoBeauty Hydrate and Glow Ultra-Fine Mist before I massage in moisturizer gives me the ultimate lush, hydrated skin that’s ready for makeup application," she said.

The trick, she explained, goes hand-in-hand with the latest beauty trend that she's been enjoying.

"I really love the luminous skin trend making a comeback thanks to K-beauty trends!" she said.

"I like to have a few products on hand to help pump up the skin's natural glow.

"[I] prep the skin by combining moisturizer with bronzing drops (my fave combo is the MCoBeauty Super Glow Bronzing Drops with the MCoBeauty Souffle Dream Moisturizing Cream).

"Then [I up] the glow and contour by underpainting before foundation," she explained.

"The easiest way to do this is to use the MCoBeauty Instant Contour Cream Bronzer and draw dots where you want to contour, then use the MCoBeauty Highlight and Glow Beauty Wand to dot on where you want to highlight.

"Buff in the dots at the same time using a soft blending brush, then apply a sheer foundation over the top to even the skin tone."

Dreadon also always makes sure she has a lip gloss in her makeup kit.

"I am loving the return of a more ’90s inspired lip and am obsessed with a traditional super shiny lip gloss, so I can’t go without a mega shiny lip gloss in my makeup kit to layer over cool toned lipsticks," she said.

"The MCoBeauty Pout Gloss Ultra Shine Lip Gloss in Clear is a must-have, and I also love the shade Tickle for a super easy, no-mirror-needed touch-up product."
