My nightmare neighbour caught me cheating while spying on my house – she’s threatening to tell hubby, we need to move
A WIFE fears her husband will divorce her after their nosey neighbour found out she was having an affair and threatened to tell him.
Jane, 37, is now desperate to leave their home in Glasgow before her other half learns that she's a cheater.
But she's no idea how to bring up the idea of relocating without raising suspicion that something is wrong.
Although she met her lover on Illicit Encounters because she was feeling lonely, Jane doesn't want the marriage to end as she doesn't think she could financially survive without him.
She says: "I can’t even afford to leave my husband if I wanted to. I’m just totally stuck. I feel so alone sometimes.
"My lover makes an effort and takes an interest in me. I’m not asking for much, just a bit of conversation.
"I’ve dreamt about us just running away from it all, together. But he’s married too and that just wouldn’t be an option for us right now.
"My neighbour hasn’t exactly caught us out, like she hasn’t walked in on us having sex. She has just been a little annoying peeping Tom questioning every time he comes over during the day.
"We live on an estate where our windows look into each other’s, so she’s opposite me.
"It’s gone as far as her saying things like 'I saw him come over, and you went straight to the bedroom and closed the blinds. What were you doing there?'

"We’ve only been risking meeting up at each other’s houses to save money and I wish she’d just leave us alone. She really has no idea about our circumstances.
"I actually think she’s jealous. She’s divorced herself and I’ve always felt like there’s been some awkward thing between her and my husband.
"She just can’t stop herself getting involved in other people’s business. Who does she think she is trying to threaten me? She needs to keep her nose out."
Jane adds: "She’s threatened that if I don’t tell him then she’s going to and she’s the type of person who would follow through with that.
"I feel like there’s no other option but to move house right now but I have no idea how I’d even manage that before everything hits the fan.
"Our mortgage has already almost doubled, there's no way we could afford it either, and how would I even broach that subject with my husband?
And I wouldn’t be able to survive without him. He’s the one who pays the lion’s share of the bills and with everything going up and up still I feel like it’s made it even harder for me to ever survive without him.
"I don’t have a family to fall back on like other people do. It’s out of the question that he could ever find out, so we either need to move house and fast, or I need to try and convince the neighbour to stop.
"Even if we moved she has his number so there will still be the risk she could tell him. It’s all such a mess."
