Inside the glamification of £1m beauty mogul Jamie Genevieve from filler regrets to two boob jobs

SHE owns a multi-million pound makeup brand and has painted the faces of celebs including Drew Barrymore - Jamie Genevieve is a self-made beauty mogul.

But while her success is founded on glam makeovers and hiding imperfections, the Glasgow mum's army of fans are also fiercely loyal due to her honesty about cosmetic work and "tweakments" she has done.

Ever since she shot to fame on social media, the cosmetics queen - real name Jamie Grant - has been consistently candid about procedures she has had done to enhance her looks.

The 30-year-old has amassed 994,000 subscribers on YouTube and 1.3million Instagram followers over the years.

And her physical appearance has changed as her fanbase has risen, with the influencer regularly talking about her filler regret, baby botox, and two boob jobs.

She said: "I just think that why not be super transparent, if this kind of stuff is making me feel great then why not share it and let you guys know that it's made me feel great.

"I, in no way, felt pressured in any way to do any of this stuff from anyone else and because of social media.

"Honestly all of these things I've had done, I've chosen to do because I enjoy it. I didn't think I needed any of this stuff. It does make me feel good and that's pretty much it.

"Everything I do on myself is for myself and that's it."

Jamie first got lip filler at the age of 19 but eventually had it all dissolved and started again after admitting she went too big.

She said: "I was pretty young and I went from my natural lips to pretty big lips in not a short space of time.

"We kinda built it up over time and they were looking really good. But at one point I think that I chose to get maybe a little bit too much.

"Obviously hindsight is 20/20. At the time I thought it was great. Looking back I think my lips were quite big."

She added: "I do think that my lips right now suit my feet a lot better.

"Personal preference back then. I'm not mad at her, she did what she wanted to do at that time."

The makeup artist has also had filler to sharpen her jawline because she says she has a naturally "chubby chin", as well as in her cheeks - the latter of which she has since had dissolved because she feels she looks better without it.

Jamie has also spoken openly about having 'baby botox' in her forehead which she describes as giving her little movement but still enough not to look frozen.

Without it, she jokes she looks like Hellboy.

And to achieve her perfect smile, the cosmetics boss has had composite bonding.

Jamie said she likes the look of "big white teeth" that look like veneers so underwent the treatment a second time to make her teeth bigger than before.

And speaking about her most invasive work, she revealed she's had two boob jobs.

Jamie initially opted for an FF cup, but after losing weight in the lead up to her wedding she felt they were too big for her figure.

So in December 2019 she went under the knife again to replace them with smaller implants, reducing her to a 32C.

Her weight is something that the mum of one has also opened up about in the past, admitting it has "yo-yoed" over the years.

"I gained about 20 pounds at the start of my career and YouTube because I wasn't used to all the free food and drink", she said.

"I'll be honest it blew my mind. So when I gained quite a lot of weight I got big bum, big hips and I had big boobs obviously because I had my [first] boob job. So I was a really kind of curvy girl.

"Then leading up to the wedding I went back to my weight before YouTube."

Social media users are always full of praise for Jamie when she speaks openly about botox, filler and cosmetic ops.

"The fact that you told the truth means everything to some people", one said.

A second added: "Your transparency and honesty is refreshing."

A third gushed: "Love your transparency and honesty, as well as your empowerment of ladies doing whatever they want to do because they’re our bodies.

"That resonates so deeply with me. Thank you for always being you Jamie."

A fourth wrote: "Thank you so much for being so open and honest about this stuff Jamie!

"It’s honestly nice knowing your level of beauty is actually achievable with the right procedures.

"I have the same face shape and I’ve always hated it but you make me love it a little! It’s nice when your idol has little hamster cheeks too."

Meanwhile, a fifth chimed in: "Absolutely love how transparent you are about all of this, ‘regrets’ and all."

As well as her more permanent changes, Jamie has made other tweaks on her way to fame and success.

Her first ever Instagram picture shows a much paler version of herself with dark hair.

The millionaire MUA now enjoys fake tan for a glowing complexion and varying shades of dyed blonde locks.

Jamie was working on a beauty counter at Debenhams in Glasgow when she started posting on Instagram and YouTube.

She eventually quit her shop job to focus on her social media channels full time and travels the world promoting herself and her products.

Taking her success to the next level, Jamie sold a minority stake in her beauty brand Vieve for £5.5 million last year.

Only founded in 2020, the cosmetics line promotes veganism and cruelty-free products.
