A MUM has warned other parents to check their Amazon orders after one of her son's Christmas presents arrived in clear packaging.

Emma O'Donnell, from Glasgow, has three boys under the age of nine and regularly shares posts on social media about parenthood.

In a recent Instagram Story (@a_mothers_tale), the 35-year-old - a social media blogger - revealed one of her son's Christmas surprises had been ruined because it was posted in see-through wrapping.

Sharing a picture of the Fortnite merchandise still in the packaging, she said: "Big shout out to Amazon for delivering one of Fin's Christmas presents in a clear plastic bag today.

"He told me he loves them."

Emma was then stunned to discover that there is a "discreet" delivery option you may have to select at the checkout when placing orders with the online retailer.

After sharing her experience on social media, another mum told her: "You have to make sure you change the option at checkout so it ships discreet now.

"I'm just glad I saw it before we ordered all of ours on there because my kids are nosey."

And Emma is now sharing the advice with other parents in the lead up to christmas.

"In case anyone's doing any Christmas shopping on Amazon, select discreet at checkout", she said.

Elsewhere, meet the Amazon warehouse worker whose easy £14-an-hour job only has one task - but it affects every order.

According to the dedicated employee, only known as Pretty Girl on TikTok, she gets paid a generous $17.50 - or just a little over £14 - an hour for practically nothing.

Does this sound your dream job? Well, it does for thousands of social media users who raced to comments to find out more.

One wondered: ''where do I apply becauseeeee......''

Another said they wouldn't mind the role - however, it wasn't totally ideal in their eyes.

''It’s easy but my problem would be how boring it is I wouldn’t be motivated to keep going back because I'm so bored.''

Someone else agreed, writing: ''Working at Amazon easy asf [as f**k] for good pay it’s just the standing in the same place that gets me.''

''As long as I could listen to music or podcasts… COUNT ME IN,'' another chimed in.
