Bargain hunters run to Aldi to nab beef joints ‘cheaper than all other half price loyalty offers’ at other supermarkets
BARGAIN hunters are scrambling to get to their nearest Aldi, desperate to get their hands on roast beef joints.
So if you still haven’t done your food shopping for Christmas and are looking to bag yourself a bargain, you’ll need to check this out.
Particularly if you're not a fan of turkey, and would rather have a delicious cut of beef this December 25th, it's time you legged it to Aldi.
One savvy shopper was left stunned when browsing her local Aldi, when she noticed that 21 day matured beef roasting joints were “cheaper than all the other half price loyalty offers” at other supermarkets.
Thrilled with her find, the foodie took to social media to alert others.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, a private Facebook group with a staggering 2.3 million members, Daphne shared a picture of her purchase and penned: “ALDI red tractor matured beef roasting joint only £4.95 kg.
“Cheaper than all the other “half price” loyalty offers.”
So if you haven’t got a Tesco Clubcard or you forgot to sign up to the Sainsbury’s Nectar card scheme, this is for you.
Daphne nabbed herself the beef joint, which according to the supermarket was ‘reared on trusted British farms to high welfare standards’.
And if you’ve never bought meat from the chain before, don’t panic, as Aldi won the Quality Food Awards for Meat Retailer 2022-2023 and their meat is Red Tractor certified standard.

Daphne later confirmed: “I’ve bought a few and sliced some into the freezer for casseroles later.”
Daphne shared her post just two hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as shoppers immediately flooded the comments to share their thoughts.
Not only were users stunned at the price, but many took to the comments to alert their friends and loved ones to the cheap buy.
One person said: “Roasted mine in the air fryer, it was so good.”
Another tagged a family member and simply added: “Aldi.”
However, someone else then penned: “I’d imagine it’s because it’s rump, whereas Tesco etc are usually topside or silverside.”
At the same time, another shopper claimed: “Asda, Tesco, great price as well.”
In response, Daphne confirmed: “I bought them at £6 kg but £4.95 kg is almost 20% cheaper.
