And, to make her experience even worse, she said that her boyfriend broke down in tears and explained that it was a "mistake".

The story left the show's hosts gobsmacked after she shared the details of the situation.

Co-host Eilidh Wells read out the story on the show from the message which said: "Boyfriend and I have been together for two years and I love him to bits.

"We have a rocky relationship and we argue a lot but I love him deeply.

"A few nights ago I just had a gut feeling about something."

Co-host Ash Reid began shaking her head as she chimed in: "That gut-feeling thing by the way - you just always know."

Agreeing, Eilidh added, "Always trust your gut", before returning to the message.

She carried on: "I decided to go through his phone, but I found him on this AI (artificial intelligence) website that uses AI to, like, deep fake and show you what someone would look like naked."

Horrified, Ash asked: "What, so you can just take a photograph, like a headshot kind of thing, and it will realise them with no clothes on?"

Eilidh read out: "He had put in a picture of my little sister.

"She's 24 and I'm 26 - out of all the people in the world, that's who he wants to see naked?

"I confronted him about it and he was crying and apologetic and saying it was a stupid mistake.

"He doesn't even know what he was thinking and he's disgusted with himself."

The clip was shared on Tiktok where shocked users flocked to the comments to share their reactions.

But many people said that they thought that the woman who sent in the message was the person in the wrong for having gone through her partner's phone in the first place.

One person said: "Yeah but going through his phone ironically makes you just as much of a red flag as him."

Another added: "Like going through your partner's phone is really healthy for a relationship....."

Someone else posted: "Not defending his behaviour but you really shouldn’t be scrolling through his phone should you?"

While a fourth chimed in: "Hold on so she just goes through his phone, and that’s ok?"

And a fifth shared: "Erm we gonna talk about her invading his privacy? Gut feeling or not she shouldn’t be going through his phone".

But others raced to the comments to defend the woman and urged her to end the relationship.

A user wrote: "The way my jaw dropped. That is honestly so bloody weird and gross. Block and banish him from your life".

A second shared: "Sorry but that is the biggest red flag there is no way you could stay with him".

Another said: "Nah… straight in the bin with him!"

Someone else added: "Couldn’t get rid of him fast enough".

While a fifth agreed: "That's disgusting."

Others simply encouraged her to "run" away from him.
