Three states that don’t have a Costco revealed – and how Americans can still get their hands on Kirkland products
THREE states don't have Costco warehouses, but there are still ways for shoppers to buy Kirkland products.
Costco is a multi-billion dollar company with 604 warehouses across 47 states.
However, three states still don't have a location.
Rhode Island, West Virginia, and Wyoming all lack a Costco warehouse.
This is because Costco evaluates potential locations based on population density, market demand, and logistics, according to TastingTable.
Rhode Island is the smallest state in America, while Wyoming has one of the smallest populations in the country.

BUYING COSTCO PRODUCTS
Even if there isn't a Costco in your state, anyone who wants to buy Kirkland products still can.
Anyone with a Costco membership can shop on the website for deals.
Though you would have to consider shipping costs, it can be a useful way to order bulk items right to your home.
Residents in the three states can also travel to nearby locations in bordering states to enjoy Costco products.

It may not be ideal for shoppers to cross state borders to get their groceries, but it's always an option.
Residents in Rhode Island can travel to Massachusetts, which has six locations, or Connecticut, which has eight, according to the Costco website.
Those that live in West Virginia have a slew of states to travel to including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and Kentucky.
Ohio has 13 warehouses, Pennsylvania and Maryland have 11, Virginia has 17, and Kentucky has four.
Costco fans who live in Wyoming have six states they could travel to; Nebraska, Montana, Idaho, Colorado, South Dakota, and Utah.
Nebraska has three, Montana has five, and Idaho has seven.
In Colorado there are 16, in South Dakota there is one, and in Utah, there are 14.
AN ALMOST-COSTCO
Earlier this year, three Rhode Island communities came together hoping to bring a Costco to the state.
It was supposed to build a location in Cranston but withdrew its permits, according to local CBS affiliate WPRI.
In Warwick, the retailer was supposed to meet with Mayor Frank Picozzi but canceled last minute, according to WPRI.
"Warwick is a special place and has numerous locations that would be a perfect fit for Costco," Warwick City Council President Steve McAllister said.
Smithfield has also tried to encourage the company to build there because there are plots of land along I-95, I-295, and Route 146.
"Smithfield offers several ideal areas for a Costco store and warehouse, with lots of space for parking and delivery vehicles," Tassoni said, confirming a report in The Valley Breeze, according to the outlet.
