Some savvy shoppers also found the blanket at similar discount retailers

SPOOKY season is almost here, and shoppers are already stocking up on Halloween essentials.

The latest must-have item for fall is the Cupcakes & Cashmere Pink Ghost Blanket, and it's already flying off shelves at retailers nationwide.

The Cupcakes & Cashmere Pink Ghost Blanket is a super-soft, 100% polyester blend perfect for the Halloween season – and beyond.

The blanket has a checkered print, including hot pink and bubble gum pink squares.

A white cartoon ghost – complete with black dots to signify its eyes and mouth – appears on alternating squares throughout.

At stores like Marshalls and Home Goods, the blanket retails for about $25.

However, due to its increased popularity, some savvy shoppers are buying up any and every pink ghost blanket they can find, hoping to resell it at a higher price.

The viral pink ghost blanket is taking the internet – or at least TikTok – storm, causing a shopping frenzy online and in stores.

GHOST WITH THE MOST

TikTok creator Darlene Davila, known as @darlenemariedavila on the popular social media platform, shared her lucky find with her 90,000+ followers.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE I FOUND IT," she captioned her post, along with a face holding back tears emoji, a pink bow emoji, and a ghost emoji.

She also included the hashtags #pinkghostblanket, #ghostblanket, #marshallshaul, and #marshallshalloweenfinds in her caption.

In the video, Darlene is seen pushing her cart down an aisle at Marshalls.

Halloween lovers rush to Amazon to snag viral pumpkin pillow – it’s identical to Pottery Barn’s but almost $20 cheaper

The aisle included dozens of blankets, sheets, duvet covers, and other bedding finds.

"POV: you finally find the pink ghost blanket," Darlene wrote in the video.

Darlene is then seen grabbing the blanket and holding it up for the camera to see.

Her jaw dropped, and, clearly shocked, she appeared to be nearly in tears after finding the sought-after Halloween blanket.

Dollar Tree dupes

Savvy shoppers have scoured Dollar Tree to find dupes of their favorite products

Shoppers found a perfect replica of a $150 set of Pottery Barn plates and bowls. Plus, Dollar Tree has matching mugs.

Dollar Tree also had dupes for the viral Starbucks tumblers.

Customers found dupes for Home Depot's $39 outdoor solar lights.

Dollar Tree has a dupe for The Pink Stuff cleaning paste, too.

She then shook the blanket up in the air, victorious, before bending over in laughter.

The video also included an original sound by TikTok creator @tothefullest5.

He used an audio clip from the animated series SpongeBob Squarepants to create the sound, which many users are including in their reaction videos.

"Hahahaha, finally!" the sound starts.

"I've been trying to catch you boys all day! Now that I've got you right where I want you," the sound continues, before abruptly cutting off.

THINK PINK

Another TikTok user, AlwaysKay, known @AlwaysKay on the app, also let her nearly 44,000 followers know she was able to snag a blanket for herself, too.

"I finally found the viral pink ghost blank {{{{insert scream}}}}," she captioned her video.

The video showed her finding the blanket hidden among dozens of similar finds, though none were quite as cute – or as spooky – as the Cupcakes & Cashmere Pink Ghost Blanket.

AlwaysKay also included a viral sound clip over her video, taken from an episode of The Kardashians.

In the clip, Kris shows off her collection of fine china to a friend.

"Look at this," Kris Jenner is heard saying.

"Ugh, perfect," Kris's friend, Faye Resnick, gasps in reply, adding, "Oh my God!"

"Isn't it great?" Kris questions, chuckling as she sips a martini,

"Kris!" Faye exclaims.

"I know, it's my dream," Kris adds, cackling in the background.

"I have goosebumps everywhere," Faye responds, adding that the collection "is out of this world."

SPOOKY SZN

In the last few weeks, nearly 1,000 TikTok creators have posted a video that includes the hashtag #pinkghostblanket, and it's becoming increasingly hard to find.

Typically sold for around $25, the blanket has already begun to pop up on popular resale sites, including eBay.

Most eBay users, however, are increasing their asking price, with opening bids starting at around $50 – a 100% markup, or two times the original cost.

Some resellers have even started selling the viral item for $60 or $75, plus taxes and shipping costs.

One shopper is even selling a Halloween "bundle," which includes the blanket and a light-up ghost figurine, for $99, plus $18.99 in shipping and handling fees.

Shoppers who hope to snag a Cupcakes & Cashmere Pink Ghost Blanket at a more affordable price, however, will have to shop for it in-stores.

The blanket is currently being sold at Marshalls, Home Goods, and TJ Maxx in select locations.

Online shoppers are out of luck, as Home Goods does not have an online store.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx also do not currently sell the blanket online, though each store has several other spooky blanket styles.

SPOOKY SAVINGS

Shoppers looking to score big deals on holiday decor should check out several money-saving dupes at discount chains nationwide.

All Dollar Tree decor is selling at a fraction of the price compared to competing chains like Michaels and Target.

The discount retailer has everything shoppers need for the spooky season, from decorative table-toppers and hanging ghoul decorations.

IKEA is also stocking shelves with Halloween favorites weeks before the holiday, selling a ghost table lamp for just $11.99 – nearly $5 cheaper than Walmart's version.

Even Amazon is getting in on the action, offering shoppers outdoor ghostly decor at affordable prices and, for Prime members, even quicker delivery options.
