The August 2017 death of Kelly Baker's husband, Randy Baker, was first thought to have been a result of his poor heart health.
However, an autopsy quickly revealed two bullet wounds ruling his death a homicide.
Police questioned Kelly before arresting her and two of Randy's other family members.
In a 2019 trial, she was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the chance of parole.

Where are Kelly's accomplices, Carol Baker and Kelly Raisley?
Randy Baker's sister Carol Baker, and her son Kelly Raisley were also arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
During a police interrogation, Carol confessed that had planned the murder with Kelly Baker and her son for months.
Per Oxygen, she told investigators that her sister-in-law was the mastermind behind the murder.

In January 2019, she was found guilty of second-degree murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison.
She is serving her sentence at La Vista Correctional Facility. Baker has an expected release date in 2045 but is eligible for parole in 2030.
Randy's nephew, Raisley, admitted to shooting Randy after the two women offered him $10,000 and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
In May 2018, he was convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Raisly is currently serving his life sentence in Sterling Correctional Facility.
How was Kelly caught for Randy Baker's murder?
Shortly after Randy Baker died, it was discovered that his wallet, keys, and car were missing from the scene.
When the car was found abandoned in an alley, detectives discovered that the victim's sister Carol Baker had listed the car for sale on Facebook.
Detectives also learned that Carol had exchanged about 4,500 text messages with the victim's wife Kelly Baker over a few months before the murder.

They also accused Kelly of attempting to claim over $130,000 in life insurance money.
Detective Mike Prill said, "The phone records were confirming that there was a seething hatred between the two towards Randy."
