The shocking interview with the controversial streamer came amid a string of appearances as the former president hits the campaign trail hard ahead of the November election.

As part of the interview at Trump's home in Mar-a-Lago, Florida, the Republican presidential candidate revealed details about his son Barron and why he decided to give Ross the interview.

"My son Barron says hello," Trump told the streamer of his youngest son.

"He's a great young guy but he's a big fan of yours," the former president said in front of a small live audience made up of his supporters.

"My son's told me about you," Trump told the streamer who was wearing a Maga hat and a red tie with a white shirt, mimicking Trump's iconic look.

"He said, 'Dad, he's really big.'''

As well as the influence of his 18-year-old son, Trump chose to take on the live stream for another key reason.

"I love having a young audience … it's about the American dream," Trump said.

"Right now, you don't have the American dream," he said of the younger generation.

During the bizarre interview in which the pair ended up performing Trump's dance move of two pumping fists and a hip swivel, Trump said that the streamer could one day find himself in the White House.

"I don't know about that, I'll leave it to Barron maybe one day," Ross replied.

The 23-year-old is popular for his live streams of video games such as NBA 2K and Grand Theft Auto V.

He has also done a number of collaborations with celebrities such as rappers Trippie Redd, Blueface, Lil Yachty, and Tory Lanez.

Before joining Kick in 2023, Ross was a streamer on Twitch.

After the live stream with Trump, Ross shared grabs from the moment he gifted the former president a Cybertruck.

"Make America Great Again," he wrote in the caption of the Instagram post.

Ross and Trump met previously as spectators at a fight night in April 2023.
