Our hotel offered us a free room but we were ‘super unprepared’ for the twist when we turned up
AN American couple made a shocking discovery when they discovered the free suite they were offered by their hotel.
Margaret and Corey Bienert, who run a TikTok page, spend much of their time visiting quirky hotels across the US to share their thoughts with fans.
However, one of their more bizarre stays that they documented on A Pretty Cool Hotel Tour was during a vacation in Europe as they explored the Spanish island of Ibiza.
The pair were offered a free night at the Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel in the Zero Suite - an opportunity that is offered to all guests.
However, in a TikTok video showing off the art-inspired room, Margaret revealed that she and her husband were "so unprepared" for the stay.
The Zero Suite also known as the Glass Box Hotel room is exactly what it sounds like.

'SUPER UNPREPARED'
Margaret filmed herself walking into the room which is situated in the hotel lobby.
As she entered the space, viewers could see a double bed with towels surrounded by glass panels.
Even as the TikToker walked in, another guest at the hotel who was in the lobby turned to look.
"When I say glass box hotel room I mean a literal glass box in the lobby of the hotel," she told viewers.

"We were super unprepared for the experience," Margaret admitted.
She explained that the only details she knew about it were that you could stay there for free for just one night.
"I thought it was such a funny idea," she said as the video showed her lying on the bed while a crowd had gathered in the lobby.
However, that was not all.
"When we were there we found out the lights never turn off and you're basically on display all night long," she said as she filmed herself and her husband in bed while a cleaner was outside.
In another shot of the video, a hotel guest was taking pictures of the couple in their room on his phone.
After doing some more research, the couple found out that the Paradiso Ibiza Hotel is an art hotel "so whoever is sleeping in that room for the night is just part of the art," Margaret explained.
The only private space for guests of the Zero Suite appears to be the bathroom.
Margaret also revealed in an update video that the room is not soundproof and advised any future guests to bring earplugs and ideas on how to keep themselves entertained in the room.
ONE BURNING QUESTION
Despite all of the information she shared, viewers had just one burning question.
"Does the hotel have restrictions on what you can’t do while in the room?" one asked.
"Ya know we weren’t given any rules?! And it is an adults-only hotel so…" the TikToker replied.
Some called the room "an exhibitionist's dream" while the TikToker suggested other activities such as live painting, pretending to be locked in, and performing Taylor Swift's Eras Tour setlist.
"Love the concept. It's not about lack of privacy I just need lights off to sleep," one said.
The possibilities are endless as long as you like being the center of attention.

Others who have stayed in the room said it "was really cool" and that they "actually quite enjoyed it."
However, the majority immediately rejected the idea of ever staying in such a suite.
"This would be my worst nightmare," one said.
"Nah you couldn't pay me to do this," another wrote.
"This is what hell would be like for me," a third said.
"Totally worth the visit despite having one of the weirdest nights of our lives," Margaret said.
While there are no rules about the activities performed in the room, the hotel asks guests of the glass box room to sign a waiver allowing other guests to film them, they have to stay for a full night, and only two people are allowed in at one time - plus you cannot rebook the space more than once a year.

The Zero Suite has been open to the public since 2018 when the hotel first opened and has been so popular that in 2022 staff had to "turn down people due to high demand," a hotel representative told US Glass Magazine.
"The possibilities are endless as long as you like being the center of attention," the hotel said of the room.
