Breonna Taylor’s mom slams ‘fraud’ BLM as Candace Owens says ‘dead black people being used to empower white Democrats’
CANDACE Owens launched a scathing attack on the Black Lives Matter movement as she backed Breonna Taylor's mother's claims the organization is a "fraud".
The Conservative commentator accused the movement of being "racist" and using "dead black people to fund and empower white Democrats."
Her comments came after Tamika Palmer, the mother of Breonna Taylor, accused BLM in Louisville of fraud for losing focus on her daughter’s cause.
She also bashed Kentucky’s Rep. Attica Scott who continued to push for legislation to ban ‘no-knock’ warrants in the state.
“I have never personally dealt with BLM Louisville and personally have found them to be fraud, Attica Scott another fraud,” Palmer wrote on Facebook.
On Sunday, author Owens commented on Palmer’s statement in a tweet saying: “BLM is a RACIST organization that uses the faces of dead black people to fund and empower white Democrats.”
Owens on Saturday bashed Biden for downplaying Antifa after some protesters vandalized stores and buildings in Portland.
Breonna Taylor was a 26-year-old emergency medical technician from Louisville, Kentucky.
She was shot and killed by the police after barging into her house last year.
The frontline medic had no criminal record and worked for two local hospitals.
Her mother said: “She had a whole plan on becoming a nurse and buying a house and then starting a family.”
Three months after Taylor was killed, her name has been chanted all over the country – and the world – at mass protests against alleged police brutality, which erupted after the death of George Floyd in police custody.
Palmer continued saying on the Facebook post from last week that many people have lost focus.
The Facebook post was deleted on Saturday, but it is unclear who removed it or why.
“I could walk in a room full of people who claim to be here for Breonna's family who don't even know who I am," Taylor's mom added.
" I've watched y'all raise money on behalf of Breonna's family who has never done a damn thing for us nor have we needed it or asked so talk about fraud,' Palmer said in the deleted Facebook post.
'It's amazing how many people have lost focus ... I'm a say this before I go, I'm so sick of some of y'all and I was last anybody who needs it,' she added.
On Saturday, BLM founder Patrisse Cullors held back tears as she recalled the racist and sexist attacks she's endured after her $3million property purchases came to light.
Cullors said she felt terrified this week after news of her multi-million dollar real estate purchase surfaced, along with her other properties.
Earlier this month, Cullors was branded as a “fraud” for buying a $1.4m home in a largely white district of LA.
She bought the three-bathroom house in Topanga Canyon which comes complete with a guest house.
The expensive property has a large back yard which the realtor says is "ideal for entertaining or quietly contemplating cross-canyon vistas framed by mature trees."
According to the Associated Press, BLM took in $90m donations in 2020.
It is unclear if or how Cullors, who is an artist and teaches at a university, is paid by the activist group she co-founded.

Cullors founded Black Lives Matter with Opal Tometi and Alicia Garza in 2013 after the acquittal of George Zimmerman, a neighborhood watch coordinator who killed unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin.
However, last year, the co-founders left the group leaving Cullors to assume control of the BLM Global Network - which oversees local chapters.
