BRIAN Laundrie's parents have been photographed getting into their car and heading off to an emotionally charged legal proceeding.

But the silver Ford Mustang convertible isn't just any old car.

It's the same vehicle Brian drove to a Florida nature preserve before shooting himself in 2021, Fox News reported.

He left a suicide note admitting that he killed his fiancee Gabby Petito, whose body was found in Wyoming.

Gabby's family is now suing Brian's parents and their attorney Steve Bertolino for "emotional distress."

The couple was on their way to a second deposition related to that case.

The lawsuit claims the defendants withheld information about Gabby's death before the body was recovered in an effort to help Brian escape justice.

Brian's mother Roberta Laundrie was scheduled to be grilled by Patrick Reilly, a lawyer representing Gabby's family, on Wednesday after his father Christopher Laundrie was deposed on Tuesday.

Joseph Petito, Gabby’s father, was present at the first hearing.

He posted a picture of a rainbow over a Florida road around the same time Laundrie's parents left their house in North Port, about 80 miles south of Tampa.

"Headed to another deposition dreading the emotional torment that is about to occur and I see this," Joseph said on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

"Thank you Gabs for showing me it will be ok."

Brian returned to his parents' home on September 1, 2021, after strangling and bludgeoning Gabby to death in the Grand Teton National Forest.

His family then refused to cooperate with police after Gabby's mother filed a missing persons report on September 11.

Brian snuck out of the home to kill himself on September 13. His body wasn't discovered for more than a month.

Roberta will also likely be asked questions about the undated "burn after reading" letter that she wrote to Brian.

"If you're in jail I will bake a cake and put a file in it," she wrote in the note.

"If you need to dispose of a body. I will show up with a shovel and garbage bags."

Roberta has claimed she gave Brian the letter before he and Gabby left for the road trip.
