“On the days I feel well enough, it is a joy to engage with school life, spend personal time on the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to do a little work from home.”

Kate stayed home as Prince William took Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, eight, to the Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium on Friday, as he celebrated his 42nd birthday.

Royal editor Emily Nash told The Sun that the Prince of Wales' recent schedule is an positive indication that Kate’s health is improving.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, the royal expert said: “Earlier this year we were seeing William perhaps once a week, and there were lots of caveats around how long he was going to be at an engagement, what time it would be.

“It felt like things were being very much tailored around his duties at home.

“And I think that the fact that he's out there more, and the fact that we're seeing Kate in action herself really suggests that they're making really good progress, so good to see.”

It hasn’t been confirmed if the Princess of Wales will attend Wimbledon, as patron of the All England Club.

Typically the royal mum-of-three presents the winners with the trophy in an on-court presentation each year.

The Chair of the All England Club, Deborah Jevans, said in a media briefing last Thursday: "Our priority is clearly that our Patron has the time to recover and we’re certainly not going to add any additional pressure on her recovery by speculating on her attendance at this year’s Championships.”
