When is the NBA Trade Deadline?

NBA trade buzz is starting to heat up with teams now having limited time before the deadline to make their moves.

There hasn't been a huge amount of movement in the season so far but that is expected to change in the next few weeks.

When is the NBA Trade Deadline?

The last moment NBA teams can trade players or picks is Thursday, February 8, at 3 pm ET.

The trade deadline is typically one of the most hectic days on the NBA calendar.

Last year, several major moves took place that reshaped the whole landscape of the league.

Kevin Durant moved to the Phoenix Suns and the Los Angeles Lakers shipped out Russell Westbrook - who eventually moved to the LA Clippers - bringing back D'Angelo Russell.

With pre-season favorites such as the Lakers, Suns, and Golden State Warriors struggling - and other teams like the Chicago Bulls stuck in a rut - there are expected to be plenty of moves ahead.

Others state that the Warriors are actively looking for a new running mate for Steph Curry, with Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, and future Hall of Famer Chris Paul all potentially available.

This season, blockbuster trades have already been made for James Harden - who switched the Philadelphia 76ers for the Clippers - while OG Anunoby and RJ Barrett were part of a seemingly win-win trade for the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors.

Who was traded before the NBA trade deadline?

On Thursday, the Warriors sent Corey Joseph to the Pacers to receive a second-round pick in the draft.

76ers guard Patrick Beverley is going to the Bucks. The 76ers in exchange will receive Cameron Payne.

The Knicks added Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks to their roster from Detroit. The Pistons received two future second-round picks.

Gordon Hayward is going to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
