GOLDEN State Warriors assistant coach Dejan Milojević has died after being rushed to the hospital Tuesday night, the team has confirmed.

His hospitalization came after he suffered a medical emergency at the Warriors’ dinner, the team announced on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The Golden State Warriors issued a statement Wednesday afternoon, confirming the coach's death.

The team’s game against the Utah Jazz slated for tonight was postponed following Milojević's medical emergency.

    "I've spent so much time in countless gyms all over the world, but Dejan quickly jumps out as completely different," Connelly said in 2020.

    "There's no cookie-cutter learning. He's teaching his guys to become unique players."

    Milojevic said he pushed Jokic to the limit, particularly during conditioning drills having noticed he could become disengaged in practice unless there was something at stake.

    In 2021, Serbian coach Milojevic, then 46, joined the Warriors coaching staff.

    During his 15-year professional career, he played in Serbia, Spain, Montenegro, and Turkey.

    He later joined Steve Kerr's staff, having previously coached Mega Vizura in Serbia and Buducnost in Montenegro, where he won the Montenegrin League Championship.
