Dejan Milojević was a Serbian professional basketball player. He was the assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors since 2021.
He had a 15-year professional basketball career, playing for teams in Serbia, Spain, Turkey and Montenegro.
Before joining Golden State, he was the head coach for the Serbian team Mega Basket from 2012 to 2020.
He was also the head coach for Budućnost in Montenegro.

What happened to Dejan Milojević?
On January 17, 2024, the NBA announced that the Golden State Warriors game against the Utah Jazz had been postponed.
They cited "a medical emergency in the Warriors family," as the reason, and said a new date would be set for the game.
The team announced on X, that Milojević was hospitalized after having a sudden medical issue at a Salt Lake City restaurant that day.
According to ESPN, the team and coaches were eating dinner together when the medical incident occurred.

It was later revealed that Milojević had passed away in the hospital after a suspected heart attack at the age of 46.
Did Dejan Milojević play in the NBA?
Dejan Milojević never played basketball in the NBA. He went undrafted in 1999 but still had a prolific career in Europe.
In 2018, he was briefly on the coaching staff for the Houston Astros as part of the NBA Summer League.
