In place of the Mavericks-Warriors game, ESPN will air the matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Lakers, the network announced Thursday.

The contest starts at 10:30 pm ET, half an hour later than Golden State's home clash against Dallas was scheduled to begin.

NBA Countdown will air until the Lakers and Nets come out for tip-off.

The Malika Andrews-hosted show will commence the broadcast of ESPN's Friday doubleheader at 7 pm.

The blockbuster showdown between the Denver Nuggets and Boston Celtics will follow in the first of the primetime games televised by the network that day.

Milojevic died at the age of 46 on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack at a private team dinner in Salt Lake City, Utah, the previous night.

Golden State traveled to SLC for a clash with the Utah Jazz, which was later postponed following the Serbian coach's shock death.

The NBA world honored the memory of the Warriors assistant after the franchise confirmed the tragic news.

In one of the most touching tributes, Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic ran a play out of his friend and countryman's playbook in Wednesday's 121-97 win over the Miami Heat.

"I told my guys I loved them," Rajakovic said after the game.

"Our opening was an ATO that — Deki [Milojević's nickname], my friend, I learned that play from him.

"That's what he brought to the NBA. That's what he brought to Golden State.

"I stole that play from him, and that was our opening play tonight and we were able to score on it once."

Rajakovic then dedicated the win to Milojevic.
