Star running back McCaffrey helped lead a stunning second-half comeback for the Niners to send them to Super Bowl LVIII.

But in the opening two quarters, Lisa could not cope with the "rollercoaster of emotions" at Levi's Stadium.

In a new episode of the popular sports podcast Your Mom, Lisa revealed she broke down as the Niners flopped in the first half of the NFC title game.

"I left where we were sitting and I went into the gender-neutral bathroom, because it was a private bathroom, shut the door, locked it and I just started bawling," she said.

McCaffrey had run in a touchdown during the first half to reduce the 49ers deficit to 14-7.

But a Jahmyr Gibbs score and a Michael Badgley field goal gave the Lions a commanding 24-7 lead at the half.

“It was awful. I was crying and people were coming in and out of our little suite and nobody could say the right thing," Lisa continued.

"It wasn’t them, it was just nobody could say the right thing, and I’m literally welling up, so I just run in, the bathroom happened to be open, I locked the door and cried for 10 minutes."

Brandon Aiyuk scored for the 49ers in the third quarter, before McCaffrey punched in another run to level the scores.

The Niners eventually ran out 34-31 winners, completing a rollercoaster of emotions for Lisa.

"That was the most emotional game I’ve ever witnessed in my life," she added.

McCaffrey joined the 49ers midway through the 2022 season from the Carolina Panthers in a blockbuster trade.

A three-time Pro Bowler, the dual-threat running back will now look to win his first Super Bowl ring on February 11.

He finished the 2023 regular season with a career-high 1,459 rushing yards and an outrageous 21 total touchdowns.
