And for all of their injuries, 22-Grand Slam winner Nadal will headline the competition against fellow Spaniard Alcaraz.

Nadal's last encounter came in a Brisbane International quarter-final on January 5 having pulled out of the Australian Open due to sustaining a micro tear on a muscle.

While Alcaraz recently revealed that he had a Grade II lateral sprain on his ankle which saw him drop out of the Rio Open.

But it seems as if the Spanish superstars have shaken off their issues and are ready to go up against each other LIVE on Netflix.

Rafael Nadal revealed that he is honoured to play at the Netflix Slam while Carlos Alcaraz admitted that he is excited.

Nadal said: "I’m very excited for my first visit to Las Vegas.

“I’m also very excited to be playing with my fellow countryman Carlos Alcaraz. I am sure it will be a fantastic night of tennis.”

Alcaraz told Netflix: “I’m honored and so happy to be sharing the court with Rafa in Las Vegas.

“He’s an all-time great, of course, and his records and achievements speak for themselves.”
