The eyes of combat sports world will be fixed on the T-Mobile Arena for the iconic card, which will be topped by a tasty light-heavyweight title fight.

And fight fans could be watching bouts take place on a new-look octagon canvas.

The cage canvas was changed seven years ago for the promotion's historic UFC 200 card, with a gold mat replacing the light grey one.

And UFC president Dana White has hinted at a similar change for next month's iconic event.

When asked if there would be a 'special canvas' for the show, White said: "Yeah, probably. I hadn't even thought of that."

UFC 300 - which is expected to be the MMA leader's biggest card of the year - is chockablock with current and former champions.

The card will be headlined by a 205lbs title fight between champion Alex Pereira and former titleholder Jamahal Hill.

Brit Leon Edwards could have topped the historic bill as he was offered THREE opponents for the card.

"Leon Edwards doesn’t say no to anybody. This kid is an absolute stud.

"He’s had like three opponents thrown at him during UFC 300 [conversations] — yes, yes, yes.

"He was willing to take on anybody. The kid’s an absolute stud. Leon, thank you, much respect."

He added: “This guy doesn’t care – he’ll fight anybody.

"Think about this, we call, and we’re talking about UFC 300, you’re going to headline, you’re going to fight this guy.

"Then we call back and say, ‘You’re going to fight this guy.’
