KANSAS City Chiefs star Travis Kelce still doesn't quite understand how he and Taylor Swift became a thing.

The NFL tight end opened up on his relationship with the pop sensation, marveling at how their two very different worlds came together.

Kelce, 34, and Swift, also 34, started dating after the Chiefs star publicly called his now-girlfriend out for snubbing him at an Eras Tour concert last summer.

Since then, their romance has been one of the most talked-about topics in the US.

The nine-time Pro Bowler discussed his and Swift's love story with rapper Lil Dicky, real name David Burd, who appeared on the New Heights podcast this week.

And Kelce said he's living the dream with the Karma singer by his side.

"It's fun, man," the NFL star said.

"I'm having a blast in life baby, just flying high and enjoying it all.

"Bringing new lives to the football world... and opening the football world up to new things."

Lil Dicky, 36, revealed he's a huge fan of the couple, saying Kelce and Swift's relationship feels like an inspiring story.

"I think it's the best thing ever, I love it," the rapper said.

"Honestly, my take on it — not that you want to talk about it for the 5000th time — there's something that makes everyone feel like the world is kind of like high school.

"Your most popular popstar, beloved musician, somehow met your most popular, beloved athlete — and they actually fell in love and it's just real.

"Anyone who hates on it is a bitter loser. I think a lot of people who would expect to hate on it actually love it, and they acknowledge they love it because there's something so American about it."

Kelce said he appreciated the kind words — and then admitted they aren't an obvious match.

"I don't know how I did it," the Ohio native said.

Swift was a regular guest at Chiefs games during the 2023 NFL season.

Her presence at the Chiefs games has been credited with a significant growth of the sport's female fanbase.
