Olivia Dunne and LSU squad arrive in Texas for NCAA Final Four as she labels teammate ‘the Heisman of gymnastics’
Dunne praised her teammates after making it all the way to the championship round
COLLEGE gymnastics star Olivia Dunne and her teammates are fired up for the upcoming NCAA Gymnastics Championship.
After advancing through the semifinals, Dunne and the LSU Tigers have arrived at the championships.

"The tigz have arrived," Dunne wrote in an Instagram Story.
Dunne also posted Stories celebrating her teammate Haleigh Bryant, who won the 2024 AAI award.
The AAI award is similar to the Heisman Trophy, as it recognizes the top senior gymnast in the NCAA.
The only difference between the awards is that the Heisman Trophy can be won by any player, not just a senior.

"Kid just won the Heisman of gymnastics," Dunne said of her teammate.
LSU has easily rolled through the bracket on the way to the National Championships after entering the tournament as a No. 2 seed.
They've scored 197.8 points or higher in every meet that they have competed in.
In the championship meet, Dunne and the Tigers will face Oklahoma, Florida, and California.

Dunne is continuing to compete after suffering a scary fall during practice during the team's championship run.
The social media star was attempting a routine when she slipped off the bar and flipped onto the mats, tumbling away.

Clearly she wasn't injured, as Dunne posted the tumble on her Instagram contrasting it to the successful routine.
Dunne had a sense of humor about it, captioning the post "Bars: 1 Livvy 0."
Fans were shocked by the fall and were relieved that Dunne was okay after the scary scene.
"Ouch!" one fan said.
"Be careful!" another fan said.
"Omg glad you are okay," a third fan said.
