TRAVIS Kelce and Patrick Mahomes are a magical combination in the NFL.
And now the Kansas City Chiefs superstar duo are hoping to produce the goods off the field too by launching into a $30 million steakhouse business.

The U.S. Sun understands the pair, who broke an NFL record for most postseason touchdown connections earlier this year on the way to another Super Bowl triumph, have invested $1.3 million to launch 1587 Prime Steakhouse in Kansas City which is set to open next year.
Both have their eyes on the future - and the food business - and want to make the restaurant "the place to be" according to a source close to Kelce.
The Kansas City location is nearing completion, with plans to expand into other cities in the Midwest and across the United States.

They hope to have at least six restaurants open by 2025, with that number set to increase in 2026, with the help of other investors who would help bring the investment towards the $30 million mark.

The U.S Sun has been told the project is being managed by Noble 33, who have lavish eateries in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, London, Houston, and New York City. The 1587 name is a combination of their jersey numbers in the NFL.
Kelce, as extensively reported by The U.S. Sun, is aiming to become a heavyweight in the showbusiness world, with his singing sensation girlfriend Taylor Swift transporting his fame and fortune onto another level.

Superstar quarterback Mahomes, meanwhile, has an eye for a killer pass and quickly building an impressive portfolio of business interests.
He has stakes in MLS, MLB, and NWSL teams as well as a slice in a Major League Pickleball franchise and fitness business Whoop, sports performance companies Hyperice and Biosteel.

He also has a share in Whataburger locations in Kansas City and the Alpine Formula 1 team.

The insider says the plans are "exciting" for both players who love to work together.
"They love food and they love steakhouses, and they also want to invest in Kansas City and show love to the local cuisine, culture and restaurant business," the source told The US Sun.
"This is more than just a project, more than just a business investment for them, that is very important for the both of them to invest in Kansas City, to give back to the city and the community by putting money in local business, " they added.
Mahomes and Kelce, who were treated by Swift to commemorate their NFL record, plan to grow the brand, and although they concede it's a "very competitive" market, they head into the venture confident of stamping their own mark in the steakhouse market.
"The barbecue and steakhouse culture is huge in Kansas City," said the source. "They want to take it to another level."

The news comes as Travis and Taylor plan to take their respective families on an epic European trip visiting five countries during the singer's three-month, mammoth 52-date tour.
Taylor is set to wow fans in Paris, Milan, London, Dublin, Stockholm, Vienna, Madrid, and Lisbon - as well as many other cities.
The Cruel Summer star will have great support on the road from her parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, Travis' brother Jason, who will also pop in with his family along the way.
"They have been talking about it for a while now and they all are so excited for this Euro trip," an insider gushed.

"After an intense season for Travis and time away from Taylor, he wants to enjoy life the most he can before going back to practice for the beginning of next season."
The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the families plan to meet up at the beginning of May for the four-show run in France and remain until May 30.

When the Paris leg of the tour is over, they'll all head off to Tuscany, Sweden, Lisbon, and end the family trip in Madrid.
According to The U.S. Sun's source, Travis will stay put as the tour heads back to France and then the United Kingdom, while the families return to the United States.
