Chernin Entertainment is expected to produce the biopic, although that deal is not closed yet, according to Deadline.

Rousey, 37, is said to have worked with WME executive Adam Novak to hone her screenwriting skills.

Having covered 30-40 scripts, she eventually wrote her own screenplay in seven days, per the report.

The ex-MMA fighter will now "adapt the script" for her Netflix biopic, Deadline reported.

The streaming giant struck a deal with Rousey after Paramount secured the rights to her first memoir, My Fight/Your Fight, in 2015.

But the project fell through, allowing Netflix to acquire the rights –said to include Our Fight, which she published in the meantime – nearly a decade later.

The California native is not expected to star in the movie.

Meanwhile, Rousey recently opened up about her fertility heartache.

She broke down in tears while discussing her IVF journey with the ex-UFC star and her husband Travis Browne trying for more children after welcoming daughter La'akea.

"I went through IVF, four cycles of IVF to be able to get eight embryos because we wanted to have like three or four kids," Rousey said.

"And the first one that we used actually worked. That's, you know, La'akea, my daughter now.

"But yeah, we're in the process of doing it right now, and I just got news yesterday that our first cycle didn't work."

Rousey also revealed that she suffered two miscarriages after almost losing a finger while filming an episode of 9-1-1 in 2019.

"I found out I was pregnant right before the show started filming, and then my finger got chopped off from a boat door falling on it," she said.

"We went and got checked out, the baby seemed fine.

But then I had a miscarriage a couple of weeks later, so I always kind of felt like that was my fault.

"I wanted to keep doing dangerous stuff while I was pregnant because I thought that made me cool.

"Then I was just depressed and drinking and smoking and not taking care of myself, then I got pregnant right away again, and then we never even saw a heartbeat that time.

"But I wasn't expecting anything more because I just wasn't taking care of myself during that time."

Rousey and Browne, a former fighter, have been married since 2017.
