Rosenior is supposedly already attracting interest from several clubs.

And talkSPORT are claiming he has turned down an offer to take charge of Plymouth.

Argyle are on the lookout for a new boss after narrowly avoiding relegation on the final day of the season.

After being rejected by Rosenior, Anthony Barry is the favourite to land the job at Home Park.

Barry, 37, worked as a coach at Chelsea for three years and is now part of Thomas Tuchel's setup at Bayern Munich.

Rosenior appeared to be Plymouth chiefs' first choice after leading Hull to a seventh-place finish.

The Tigers were just three points away from earning a spot in the play-offs - but the manager was sacked due to owner Acun Ilicali disagreeing with his "football philosophy".

With fans shocked by the decision, Ilicali explained: "It was a difference in opinions.

"Liam is a very good coach and will be very successful. He is young and is a very good character who makes the team love him.

"There are so many positive things, but at the end of the day me and my team are dreaming of something for this club and there is a football style we want to see on the pitch.

"I can't say what the biggest difference is. Liam's football philosophy is very good and may be successful but we didn't see it suiting our character for the future."

Rosenior played for Premier League sides like Fulham and Brighton during his career.

Hull are set to land former Hamburg boss Tim Walter as their new boss.
