Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes hints at future Travis Kelce roast – and tells Pat McAfee why he wouldn’t attend it
Mahomes also answered if he would be open to having his own roast
PATRICK Mahomes has hinted at a future TV roast special centered around Travis Kelce - but he made clear he won't be taking part.
Mahomes gave a clue on The Pat McAfee Show after the ESPN hit program discussed the NFL icon Tom Brady's Netflix roast.

Brady's roast special attracted huge viewership as the three-hour program consisted of roasts that took shots at the 46-year-old's personal life.
Mahomes told McAfee that he wants no part of having his own roast in his lifetime.
But the 28-year-old said that a company like Netflix could lure Kelce into having a roast focused on him.
Kelce's popularity has soared since his romance with music icon Taylor Swift.

McAfee did tell Mahomes that he would most likely have to attend the hypothetical Kelce roast.
But Mahomes threw cold water on the notion.
"I don't know... Gronk was getting [roasted] almost as bad as Tom was," Mahomes said.
"I don't even know if I can be there if Travis goes."

Mahomes referenced the numerous celebrities during the Brady roast who made fun of Gronkowski who appeared at the special.
But McAfee wasn't having it with Mahomes' answer, saying that the quarterback and Kelce are the "greatest tag team in football" and would have to be together in the roast.

Earlier in the sequence, Mahomes shared that he will not be part of a roast anytime soon.
"There were some funny moments in there. I will give that. The comedians did a good job, but roast, I mean, there’s no rules. You kind of just have to go out there and just, and just sit there and listen to everybody talk trash about you," he said.
"So I will stay away from that, throughout my lifetime, and try to just stay on the straight and narrow."
The event was tough for those in Brady's immediate circle.

Brady has since revealed that he was fine with the jokes aimed at him, but "didn’t like the way that it affected my kids."
"It's the hardest part about - like the bittersweet aspect of when you do something that you think is one way and then all the sudden you realize I wouldn't do that again because of the way that it affected actually the people that I care about the most in the world," he explained while appearing on The Pivot podcast.
Among the jokes were about his divorce from his ex-wife Gisele Bundchen and his past relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

Brady's comments came just days after a report claimed Bundchen was left "deeply disappointed" by the jokes about her, a source told People.
The source also added that "as always, [Bundchen's] priority is to support her children who were affected by the irresponsible content that was broadcasted."
