Mahomes revealed how he encouraged Kelce to pursue Swift
PATRICK Mahomes is trying to take credit for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift getting together.
On Thursday's episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Mahomes made his case to be credited as matchmaker.

The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback explained that he was the first to tell Kelce to go for it with Swift.
“I have to take some of the credit,” Mahomes said.
“I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert, when the friendship bracelet was…
"He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker.”

Kelce has already revealed the story of how he wanted to give a friendship bracelet to Swift but couldn't get to her.
However, Mahomes claims that he was the one that told Kelce to stay vigilant and go after her.
“I had some input in there as well,” he said.
“I was like, ‘Dude, just go for it. Just go for it.’ You know Travis, man. He does and he’s a great dude.”

While Kelce wasn't able to capture Swift's attention with the friendship bracelet, they were able to connect and a few months later she was watching Chiefs games.
Taylor Swift fans loved the story from Mahomes and thanked him for bringing Kelce to the show.
