Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson claim ‘we are responsible’ for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift romance on Jimmy Fallon
Travis Kelce responded to Andrews and Thompson's claims on social media
SPORTS media stars Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson weren't afraid to take credit for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's relationship on a hit late-night TV program.
Andrews and Thompson appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and shared their beliefs about how Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance first came about.

The Fox NFL colleagues Andrews and Thompson were on the late-night TV show promoting their popular podcast, "Calm Down."
During a sequence, Fallon asked the pair, "You guys predicted Kelce and Taylor?"
Thompson, who donned a small yellow dress, boldly replied, "Yes Jimmy, we are responsible."
That caused Fallon to laugh and tell Thompson and Andrews, "That was you who did that, thank you.

"As a country, we're thanking our servicemen and women, but we really have to thank you for what you've done for all of us.
"You brought us Taylor and Travis, oh my God."
Thompson then said, "You’re welcome, America."
Fallon asked Andrews and Thompson about how they put the Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce and 14-time Grammy winner, Swift, together.

Andrews explained she and Thompson had covered Kelce as sports broadcasters and became friends with him.
And Andrews then shared that when Kelce went on his popular podcast New Height to let his crush on Swift be known, both Andrews and Thompson also spread the idea.

"He had mentioned on his podcast that he went to the show, wanted to meet her afterwards, didn’t get the chance to," she said.
"So we just started talking about it on our podcast saying, ‘Taylor, do this for America. Date him.’
"I mean, the guy, he’s not ugly by any means."
Thompson added that they were "advocating early on" and said that Kelce told them, "'I owe you guys big time.'"

"So then, of course, everyone gives us credit," Thompson continued.
"We, we’ll take the credit, but I just love both of them, and I’m so happy to see them happy."
Kelce has continued showing his appreciation for Thompson and Andrews' help getting him to date Swift.
He responded to a clip of the sequence on the show's Instagram page, writing, "For America!! us [laughing emojis] Charissa and Erin are the best!"
Kelce and Swift have been in a relationship since last summer.
The music icon appeared at numerous Chiefs games in the 2023 NFL campaign, including when Kelce won the Super Bowl in February.
Kelce returned the favor as he went to see an Eras Tour show in Paris this month.
