The Texas Tech product Mahomes also came to the game with his wife, Brittany, to the Mavericks-Minnesota Timberwolves Game 3 matchup.

Between the first and second quarters of the game, Travis Kelce was shown on the video board.

However, fans booed the eight-time NFL Pro Bowler and boyfriend of music icon Taylor Swift.

Kelce, who donned sunglasses, seemed to be shocked at the boos and placed both of his hands on his chest in astonishment.

The jumbotron then cut to Patrick and Brittany, who both received cheers from the crowd.

Patrick has been to numerous Mavericks playoff games in this year's playoffs.

The 28-year-old even stood up and turned around to hype the crowd even more by waving his hands up and down.

After the sequence, the Mavericks decided to poke fun at Kelce on X, formerly Twitter.

The Mavs posted a video of the moment and mentioned Mahomes by name but not Kelce.

"Our guy Pat and @taylorswift13's boyfriend in the house!" the Mavericks wrote.

Kelce's appearance at the NBA playoff game came a day after he was in Dallas to watch the Dallas Stars, who also play at the American Airlines Center.

Dallas hosted the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL's Western Conference Finals and the TV cameras pointed to Kelce in a suite during the game.

The Texas native Mahomes sent a message to Kelce on social media, telling him to "get out of my arena."

Either way, Kelce seemed to be good luck for both Dallas teams.

The Stars won 3-1 on Saturday to even the series at 1-1 and the Mavericks claimed the 116-107 victory over the Timberwolves.

Dallas has taken a commanding 3-0 series lead over Anthony Edwards' Minnesota team.

Mavericks stars Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving combined for 66 points in the game.

Travis Kelce the actor

NFL star Travis Kelce has apparently landed his first major acting role.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a "heavyweight" figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce has seen his star power rise after going public with his girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has now been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to land on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear in the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville.

On Tuesday, Nash-Betts appeared to confirm Kelce's involvement with a surprise Instagram reveal.

"This is what happens when WINNERS link up" she captioned a clip featuring Kelce in a backstage dressing room.

After the game, Doncic caught up with Kelce as the two embraced near the locker room.
