KANSAS City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones isn't a fan of Darren Waller's lyrical take on his failed marriage to WNBA star Kelsey Plum.

The New York Giants tight end wrote a song about his high-profile divorce from the Las Vegas Aces point guard, which happened just a year after the two tied the knot.

Waller, 31, dropped the single, titled Who Knew (Her Perspective), last week before relating a music video on Thursday, May 30.

In the clip, the NFL star could be seen arguing with a woman — playing the role of Plum, 29 — at a picnic table and bowling with her.

It ends with the one-time Pro Bowler laying on the beach and with water hitting his face after the woman seemingly stabbed him in the back and walked away.

Waller explained the song shows the viewpoint of a woman trying to love him.

"I’ve struggled with intimacy in romantic relationships my whole life, and I recognize the toll it has taken on the lovers I’ve been close to," he told TMZ Sports.

"Essentially, I’m telling myself, from the damage I’ve done, that it’s imperative for me to heal the wounds in my life I’ve been avoiding by seeking relationships."

Waller added: "As the song is an attempt to see things from the woman’s perspective, the video is an extension of that, ending with me being alone and wondering why they wounded me and left me there."

The music video quickly went viral on social media, eliciting some strong reactions — with Jones didn't hiding his dislike.

"This s**t terrible slime," the Chiefs star posted on X.

Waller and Plum tied the knot in March 2023, just a few days before the Las Vegas Raiders traded him to the Giants.
