PAT McAfee expressed admiration for USA swimming legend Katie Ledecky.

The US Olympic swimming trials are in Indianapolis, where McAfee is based, and he was present to watch Ledecky dominate.

Ledecky steamrolled the competition, winning the women's 400m freestyle, 200m freestyle, and 1500m freestyle.

She won the 1500m freestyle by 20 seconds.

McAfee was watching on from the crowd in Lucas Oil Stadium to see Ledecky easily qualify to represent the US in the Olympics.

"Katie Ledecky has the top 19 times in the world’s history of this event," McAfee wrote on X.

"AN ABSOLUTE GOAT IN THE WATER.

"We own the pool."

Ledecky's performance at the qualifiers was so dominant that some fans found it funny.

At one point she was halfway down the pool, swimming the opposite direction as her competitors because she was so far in the lead.

"Everyone else is still swimming," McAfee said in a video on X.

"They're heading the opposite direction and this lady is done.

"Katie Ledecky is a f****ing beast."

When she finished the race in the the 1500m there were no other competitors on the TV screen.

Ledecky's hilarious dominance is demonstrated in the leaderboard for the all-time fastest times in the women's 1500m freestyle.

She owns each of the top 18 times in the event from 15 minutes and 20 seconds to 15 minutes and 38 seconds.

Ledecky has won seven Olympic gold medals and will likely add to that total at the 2024 Paris Olympics, as no one challenges her 1500m time.

She also has 21 world championship titles.

Phelps won 28 medals across five Olympic games, the most ever for an athlete in the Summer Olympics.
