"Legend in the marking," a third added.
Bronny had rocked No. 6 with USC last season.
However, that number is retired across the NBA in honor of the late great Bill Russell.
Bronny had worn No. 8 in high school but that number belongs to teammate Jalen Hood-Schifino.
He has the number 9 inked on his body as he has '999' tattooed behind his ear as a tribute to the late rapper Juice WRLD.
Bronny will be the 16th player in Lakers franchise history to wear the number.
Previous Los Angeles players to wear No. 9 include guard Nick Van Exel, forward Matt Barnes, and point guard Rajon Rondo.
Bronny will have "Jr." on the back" which could lead LeBron to add "Sr." to his jersey.
After the Lakers revealed Bronny's No. 9 jersey, LeBron commented on the development.
"NO WORDS!!" James said on his Instagram story with a photo of Bronny in his new uniform.
Bronny's younger brother, Bryce, shared an Instagram video of the ex-USC Star's reaction to being selected.
