Wimbledon drinks prices revealed as cost of beer is up by nearly a POUND and Pimm’s is almost £12 a glass

WIMBLEDON beer prices are up by nearly a pound on 2023.

And fans hoping for a nice glass of Pimm's will set them back virtually £12 ($15).

For many, a day out at the tennis is one of the highlights of summer.

But make no mistake about it, hoping to pick up some drinks will not be cheap.

In fact, the official prices for Wimbledon 2024 have now been revealed.

Pints of beer and cider start from £8.10 ($10.20) for Guinness, Camden Pale Ale, Camden IPA and Orchard Pig Reveller - up from £7.20 ($9.10) 12 months ago.

But Stella Artois, the official beer of the Championships, costs a whopping £8.50 ($10.75).

Compared to last year, that is a 95p increase from £7.55.

A 330ml bottle of Stella, meanwhile, will set supporters back £7.50 ($9.50) over the next fortnight.

A reusable cup of Pimm's is £11.95 - compared to £11.20 in 2023.

Elsewhere, a 250ml gin and tonic can is £9.80 while a couple G&T is £14.90 ($18.90) - up from £14 a year ago.

The cheapest wine, served in 187ml cans, are £9.80 ($12.40) with the most expensive bottle of Lanson champagne setting punters back £100.90 ($128).

The same bottle a year ago was £95.10 ($120).

Other drinks available to buy include £2.95 ($3.75) for a 750ml bottle of water.

Cans of Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke and Sprite Zero is £2.60 ($3.30).

In terms of food, a sausage roll is £4.90, a Cornish pasty is £6.50, a fish finger sandwich costs £13.30 and a bag of crisps is a steep £2.20.

Brownies, flapjacks and rocky roads are each £3.20.

But it is with sweets that Wimbledon rake in the money, charging £4.60 ($5.80) for bags of Haribo, Galaxy Minstrels and Skittles.
