CAITLIN Clark and Angel Reese have both made the WNBA All-Star game in their rookie seasons.

The rosters for the WNBA All-Star game were released on Tuesday, and Clark and Reese will be teammates for the first time.

Clark topped the charts for fan voting, receiving 700,735 votes to get her into the game.

Reese got plenty of love from fans too, garnering 381,518 votes, the seventh-most in the league.

Clark and Reese are both having spectacular rookie seasons and are in a tight race for Rookie of the Year.

Reese is averaging a double-double so far, averaging 13.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game.

Meanwhile, Clark is averaging 16 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game.

While they two have been painted to be rivals, Clark has shared excitement around finally being on the same side as Reese.

"I don't think I've ever been her teammate before, even with USA Basketball or anything like that," she said on Tuesday.

"So, I know people are going to be really excited about it, but I hope it doesn't take away from everybody else."

Reese has also previously expressed a desire to share the court with Clark while wearing the same jersey.

"Oh my gosh, I love Caitlin," Reese said before the 2023-24 NCAA season.

"We've been competing since we were in AAU. AAU days, we always competed.

"I remember she was at All Iowa Attack, and we would play each other in AAU. It was always fun and always competitive.

"One day, hopefully, me and her can be teammates because she is a great player and a great shooter and a great person and a great teammate."

Fans shared their excitement about the two rookies getting into the All-Star game together and made some comparisons between them and other basketball legends.

"CAITLIN CLARK AND ANGEL REESE MADE THE WNBA ALLSTAR GAME AND ARE PLAYING ON THE SAME TEAM," one fan said with a picture of Shaq and Kobe Bryant.

The WNBA All-Star game will take place on July 20 in Phoenix, Arizona.

A skills challenge and 3-point contest will take place the day before on July 19.
