MASON GREENWOOD reportedly wants a decision on his future to be made this week.

The 22-year-old has returned to England following his season-long loan spell with Getafe but is expected to be sold by Manchester United before the 2024-25 season starts.

Last summer, the Red Devils officially announced that Greenwood will not continue his career at Old Trafford.

The forward was arrested in January 2022 following allegations of attempted rape and assault.

Charges were dropped by the CPS last year but an internal review at the club ruled that he should leave.

Greenwood went on to spend the 2023-24 season at Getafe, where he scored 10 goals in 36 appearances and was named Player of the Season.

During his time in Spain, United's new co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe refused to close the door on a potential return.

But with several clubs interested, he will likely seek a permanent move away from England.

According to the Mirror, Greenwood wants his immediate future sorted by the end of this week.

The former England U21s star is reportedly in advanced talks with Marseille and Lazio.
