NFL superstar Amon-Ra St. Brown has shed some light on being followed by the Netflix cameras.

The streaming giant is trying to follow up Quarterback, which was a smash hit last summer, with a new show called Receiver.

The first episode aired this week featuring Detroit Lions pass catcher St. Brown, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, George Kittle and Deebo Samuel of the San Francisco 49ers, and Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams.

“Honestly, it was easy. It was not too invasive. They did a great job making it seamless,” Amon-Ra told brother Equanimous on the St. Brown Podcast.

“They mic’d me up once a week for practice. So, I was mic’d up every Wednesday. That’s the biggest practice day in the NFL.

"They would mic me up on Wednesdays, and the camera crew would be there for practice, and that’s it for the week.

"Then they mic me up on gameday, every gameday. The camera crews would be there."

Aside from being recorded at practice and games, St. Brown filmed on a few of his days off as he spent time with his family.

The two-time Pro Bowler was made the best-paid wideout in the NFL in April.

He signed a four-year extension worth $120 million as Detroit tied down its star offensive talent.

But St. Brown's deal has already been overtaken twice in a bumper wide receiver market.

A.J. Brown signed a three-year $96 million extension with the Philadelphia Eagles later in April.

And fellow Netflix star Jefferson agreed to a $140 million four-year contract in June.

St. Brown was not the only Lion to land a mega extension this summer.

Quarterback Jared Goff was handed a staggering $212 million deal.

Goff became the highest-paid player in Lions history with this new deal, which will reportedly include $170 million guaranteed.

It's another sign of the clear intention in Detroit to make sure the brilliant recent progress under head coach Dan Campbell doesn't go to waste.

The Lions have now rewarded three star players this offseason, with over $444 million in contract extensions to Goff, St. Brown, and offensive tackle Penei Sewell.

Goff threw for 4,575 yards with 30 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

He is determined to build on his success.

"We've got a lot of work to do," Goff said.

"The expectations are high, but internally, our standards are raising, and our expectations are raising, and we've got goals and things we want to do.

"It's not like we're going to show up and start winning again.

"Just focus on what matters and trying to get better and trying to help our team win games, advance further than we did last year and hopefully be the last team standing at the end. That's all I'm thinking about."
