Countless A-listers took part in the golf tournament

The NFL star's errant shot is said to have struck the woman in the head just days after he discussed the possibility of an accident with his brother Jason.

Travis, 34, teamed up with Jason, 36, and WWE star The Miz in the first round of the charity event, which started on Friday, July 12.

The nine-time Pro Bowler took the unfortunate swing on hole 16, according to People.

After he went for a big drive, the ball hit a woman in her 20s in the back of the head, causing streaks of blood to pour down her blonde hair, the magazine reported.

Paramedics tended to the spectator as she sat on the ground.

A few minutes later, she was able to stand up – but would eventually be transported off the course by the medics.

Before she left, though, Travis and Jason checked up on the woman and she joked to the Philadelphia Eagles icon that she didn't know which Kelce brother hit the ball, per People.

The report added added the Chiefs star also quipped that the least he could do was pose for a photo with her.

The incident happened a little over a week after the Kelces brought up the possibility of hitting a spectator at the American Century Championship (ACC).

The exchange took place when Jason asked Travis for advice ahead of his ACC debut.

"My advice would be don't feel bad if you hit somebody because they bought the ticket," the Chiefs tight end responded.

Jason quickly replied, "I don't feel bad if I ever hit anybody."

And Travis continued: "It's a bunch of amateurs out there trying to play golf so don't feel bad.

"People have gotten hit before. They got EMTs, whatever it's called, they got those right there at every hole.

"Everybody will be fine."

Travis Kelce the actor

NFL star Travis Kelce has apparently landed his first major acting role.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end plans to become a "heavyweight" figure in music and entertainment.

Kelce has seen his star power rise after going public with his girlfriend Taylor Swift last summer.

The 34-year-old has now been cast in the new horror series Grotesquerie.

Directed by American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy, the drama is set to land on FX this fall.

Kelce will appear in the show alongside Niecy Nash-Betts, Courtney B. Vance, and Lesley Manville.

On Tuesday, Nash-Betts appeared to confirm Kelce's involvement with a surprise Instagram reveal.

"This is what happens when WINNERS link up" she captioned a clip featuring Kelce in a backstage dressing room.

Jason's wife, Kylie, and Ed Kelce, the brothers' father, came to support them in Lake Tahoe.

Countless celebrities participated in the tournament, including comedian Rob Riggle, New York Jets quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, and Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost.

Riggle had a lot of kind words to say about Travis.

"He's so gracious with his time," the comedian said.
