The NY Post reported that Bayless' final show will take place later this summer.

Bayless will be the second star to leave the program in the last year as Shannon Sharpe left following the 2023 NBA Finals.

Fans rushed to react to the development on X.

"Still love you Skip," one commented.

"What a shame," a second wrote.

"One of the greatest to ever do it… you may have your opinion on Skip but he’s truly one of the best sports journalists of all time," a third added.

After the NFL icon Sharpe exited Undisputed, the new format featured a rotating group of panelists alongside Bayless.

The personalities included Keyshawn Johnson, who appeared regularly on the program, Michael Irvin, Richard Sherman, Paul Pierce, and Rachel Nichols.

However, ratings have been a struggle since Sharpe left the program.

Sharpe has gone on to work alongside Stephen A. Smith on ESPN's hit debate show First Take.

Undisputed went on hiatus following Sharpe's departure and returned with Bayless being the host and introducing topics to his fellow colleagues.

Bayless will be entering the final year of his contract at Fox.

It was reported in 2021 that Bayless had signed a four-year deal with FS1 worth $32 million.

Undisputed will likely continue without Bayless on the show.

The program has been a regular feature on FS1 since 2016.

Bayless and Sharpe co-hosted Undisputed from 2016 until 2023.

The two took part in comical debates.

However, last July, Sharpe and Fox Sports came to a buyout agreement after months of seemingly growing tension between him and Bayless on air.

Bayles had previously contributed to ESPN before landing his Undisputed role.

In 2004, he contributed to ESPN2's Cold Pizza.

That eventually rebranded to First Take and he hosted the program until he parted ways with the network in June of 2016.
