REALITY TV star Fred Sirieix will be part of BBC's Paris 2024 coverage while his daughter battles for gold.
Fred, 52, reached fame as the maitre d' of Channel 4's First Dates, which sees strangers being matched on a blind date at a lavish restaurant.

The French star, though, will be swapping gourmet dishes for the BBC mic when he analyses his daughter Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix's, 19, performance in the diving event.
The restauranteur will be joining the punditry team alongside cyclist Laura Kenny, long jumper Jazmin Sawyers, rower Moe Sbihi and triathlete Vicky Holland.
During a Q&A, the TV personality was asked about his fondest Olympics memory, what people should be most excited about Paris 2024 and his medal predictions.
And the proud father is confident Andrea will be coming back home from his native France with a medal around her neck.
Fred told the BBC: "Fondest memory is the opening ceremony of the London 2012 games. It made me feel so proud.
"[People should be most excited about] The games and the competition.
"The very best athletes in the world going head-to-head, and French hospitality.
"I would be lying if I did not say my daughter Andrea [will win a medal].

"But many other athletes come to mind. Emily Campbell, Kye Whyte, Adam Peaty and many more."
Andrea qualified for Paris 2024 after winning the women's 10-metre platform final at the British Diving Championships.

The diver told the BBC: "I'm elated. Thank you for all the support and I give glory to God. I just kept on pushing through that competition.
"We'll see what happens in Paris but I really just want to enjoy it."
