In the photoshoot, Bronny replicated some of his dad's iconic poses from his first shoot with the Lakers.

In three starts Bronny has only managed to score 15 points on 6-for-26 shooting.

He also has yet to score a three-pointer during the preseason games.

The Lakers' Summer League coach, Dane Johnson, downplayed Bronny's struggles after their third game.

"He's going to have a long career," he said.

"This is just the beginning. We just have to keep instilling confidence in them, keep it in their heads.

"So we still have a long way to go."

Bronny has also downplayed his struggles, feeling like he is just having a dip in performance.

"I just feel like I'm in a little slump right now," he said.

New Lakers head coach JJ Redick hasn't sounded any alarms either, instead focusing on the positives of Bronny's Summer League performances.

Redick has complimented the defensive effort that Bronny is giving during the games.

Bronny fears

Bronny James has had a rough go of things during the Summer League - and fans began to worry for the rookie.

A social media clip of Bronny during a 88-74 loss to the Celtics went viral as the 2024 second-round pick also air-balled a three-point shot as the clock expired.

The 19-year-old didn't fare well in the contest, scoring just two points on 1-of-5 shooting, three rebounds, one assist, two turnovers, and three fouls.

"I genuinely feel sorry for Bronny. this is BAD," one commented.

"He's gotta be nervous," another wrote.

"It'll get better from here," a third stated.

"We want him pressuring the ball," Redick said on ESPN.

"I told him yesterday, I said, 'If you get blown by, if you have 10 fouls, that's on me. I want you up pressuring the ball.'"

The Lakers are scheduled to play two more Summer League games, so Bronny will have a few more chances to prove he belongs on the NBA roster.
